If you are seeking information about Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), which is a medication provided on an emergency basis to prevent HIV after exposure, you need to take the medication as soon as possible within 72 hours of exposure. Please contact your primary care provider immediately. If you do not have a primary care provider, seek immediate care at an Emergency Room or an Urgent Care facility. Northland Cares does not prescribe PEP at this time. Check back for updates on Northland Cares’ PEP provider status.
