Who We Are

Northland Cares is a 501c3 non-profit organization specifically founded to meet the specialized needs of people living with HIV/AIDS in northern Arizona. The federal government estimates that from between 1,200 and 1,400 individuals residing in this vast geographic, culturally diverse area are infected with HIV; however, only 10% of those people are currently enrolled in services. 

What We Do

On Site:

  • Fast, Free & Confidential HIV Counseling and Testing.

  • Outpatient HIV specialty medical care provided by two dedicated HIV specialists.

  • Ryan White - Medical Case Management services including assistance with accessing AIDS Drugs Assistance Program, Ryan White medical, Delta Dental and other support services.

  • Housing Opportunities for People With AIDS (HOPWA), Short-Term Rental, Mortgage, and Utility assistance (STRMU)

 

Off Site:

Cottonwood / Sedona / Verde Valley
  • Outpatient HIV specialty medical care provided by one of our dedicated HIV specialists.

Putting it All Together

Our programs and services are designed to create opportunities for people impacted by HIV to engage in a healthy, whole, and vibrant life.  All services are provided in a nurturing, comfortable, caring and professional environment and are provided regardless of ability to pay, language, sexual identity, mobility or other factors.
